The building’s interiors have been extensively renovated and great care has been taken to preserve the beautiful original features, including the high ceilings, the tall windows and the oak-beamed ceiling in the breakfast room. Nevertheless, modern comforts and facilities, such as air conditioning and Wi-Fi wireless internet access, have now been integrated into the original structure.

The building has an elevator from the ground floor to the 1st floor, where all of the rooms are located.

A buffet breakfast is available daily from 07:30 to 10:00. The buffet features a wide selection of food and drinks, including, fresh-baked croissants, bread rolls, corn flakes, choco pops, muesli, fresh yoghurts, kiwis, fruit salad, fresh dairy milk, American coffee, Italian espresso, a variety of teas and fruit juices.

The hotel’s bar is open from 10:00 until 22:00 and offers a selection of cold drinks, coffees, teas, espresso, cappuccino, and traditional Italian wines and liquors. In the summer, the tranquil terrace in front of the bar is an ideal spot to enjoy a drink after a long day exploring the city.

All of the hotel’s spacious, recently renovated rooms are furnished in a warm, elegant manner and decorated in a classical style. Each room features modern comforts, services and facilities.

The hotel also offers superior single and double rooms with views over Via Calzaiuoli. Some of the rooms have a partial view of the Duomo.

All of the rooms are on the first floor and are non-smoking. Ironing facilities are available on request.

The hotel has an unbeatable location, right on Via Calzaiuoli, a pedestrian street that is the main route through the city centre. Less than 100 metres away, the Duomo is Firenze’s cathedral and is also known as The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore. The Uffizi gallery, one of the oldest and most famous art museums in the world, is just a few hundred metres away. Ponte Vecchio and Accademia are also close by.
